The anticipated Benghazi congressional hearing has come and gone with the deaf and dumb mainstream media ignoring the huge implications of the testimony. Left gasping for air are the lies told to us by President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. They were clearly exposed for what they are by the whistleblowers testimony yet here we are 48 hours after the hearing started and Obama/Clinton are still standing.

To her credit, the OTHER Michelle, Bachmann, is not letting go of this biggest yet scandal of a scandal-plagued regime. She is promising to continue to unravel the web of lies spun around Benhazi and for that we must all applaud and support her. Let us hope that she is the one courageous member of congress that we at The DC Post has been asking to step forward and start the process of removing the greatest threat to America, Barack Hussein Obama.

Today is the day in which the truth, or part of the truth, will be revealed to the American people. A congressional hearing will take place where people intimately involved in the Benghazi attack of 9/11/2012 will reveal what really happened that day as far as Obama’s and Clinton’s actions are concerned. The cover up as to the true events may start to be unraveled and the lies disposed of.

What the results of these disclosures will be is fairly predictable, unless the truth revealed are so egregious that Americans will finally rise up and demand that this president be removed from office. Obama’s defense will be that he was unaware of what was really happening that day, relied on Hillary Clinton’s advice as to what actions needed to be taken so he cannot be blamed for any of it. Besides, he was asleep at the time. The teflon president will probably skate through on this impeachable offense, as he has on previous ones.

Sincere wishes to all for a happy new year – under the circumstances.

The circumstances, of course, are Obama’s second term. Can we suffer through  another four year plan? Will we survive the next Great Leap Backward?

As of this writing, early on the last day of 2012, the “Fiscal Cliff crisis” remains unsolved. Through all the seeming tumult and frantic negotiation between senators and congressmen, Obama remains imperiously above it all. With much fanfare and footage, like MacArthur stepping into the surf at Leyte, Obama alit upon Washington from the heavens. He loved us so much he gave up his only Hawaii vacation (until next year) to pretend to save us from fiscal perdition.

But the self-sainted Barack doesn’t negotiate. He doesn’t roll up the sleeves. He doesn’t deal and he most certainly doesn’t compromise. He mandates, then he pouts when he doesn’t get everything he wants. It’s all about him. The country comes a distant second, if that, to his brilliance, his ego and his place high above. His only “policy” is his politics. The only “solution” is Obama himself. If any kind of “cliff” agreement is made by the midnight hour, it will likely be in spite of — rather than because of — his highness.    [More...]

Egypt’s increasingly unstable Muslim Brotherhood regime, voted into power on an anti-US and anti-Israel platform, is about to receive 20 F-16 fighters jets despite calls to suspend arms sales to Cairo, Fox News reported Tuesday.

The jets were ordered by deposed Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, and the Muslim Brotherhood is about to take over the inheritance.

Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, swept into power earlier this year on an Islamic campaign that promised reforms, has turned the Arab Spring revolution on its end by trying to usurp power. He has deployed armed soldiers and police to quell angry riots that have raised fears of a repeat of the violent suppression of anti-Mubarak protesters nearly two years ago.

Despite the instability, the United States is going ahead with the delivery of the F-16 jets, part of a two-year-old order for the planes. [More...]

Unfortunately, it looks like the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2013 makes it even easier for the U.S. government to indefinitely detain American citizens without charge or trial.

Despite the many claims that Americans in fact could not be indefinitely detained under the 2012 version of the NDAA, a federal judge stated in court that Americans could be held indefinitely under the act earlier this year and ruled the provisions unconstitutional, a ruling which was quickly reversed by a judge appointed by Obama.

Some news outlets were falsely reporting that the new NDAA actually did more to protect the rights of Americans, but upon further scrutiny, they retracted the statements and indeed concluded that the new NDAA makes it easier for the government to detain U.S. citizens indefinitely.
