Humane Rescue Alliance Temporarily Removes Adoption Fees

-

The Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA), an animal shelter based in DC, has waived adoption fees for dogs and cats this weekend, from Friday, October 21, to Sunday, October 23.

The shelter’s campaign comes in celebration of the 14th annual adoption weekend of Mars Petcare.

Throughout the weekend, those interested in adoption may visit the centers, which are located at 71 Oglethorpe Street NW, and 1201 New York Avenue NE without having to make an appointment. (Check visiting times ahead of your visit.)

Animals staying in foster homes can be adopted through virtual meeting and counseling sessions, after potential adopters contact foster families using the information next to animal profiles on HRA’s web page.

To select an animal to adopt, you can go to HRA’s website and search their online database that shows currently available pets.
