D.C. residents can enroll for high quality and affordable health insurance cover from November 1 to January 31, 2019.

After the event, DC Health Link will take to the D.C. streets with a “CARE-A-VAN” of Get Covered, Stay Covered, travelling to several points to meet the residents. The staff will set up many mobile units providing information on DC Health Link, enrollment and financial support for making lesser monthly premium payments. The staff will also answer queries and provide any other assistance for D.C. residents.

Since its opening in 2013, the DC Health Link has doubled its efforts so that all D.C. residents can use quality and affordable health insurance. It has also focused on D.C. areas with higher uninsured rates and reached out to the Millennials, Latinos and African Americans in the district.

DC Health Link provides health insurance to about 18,000 residents through the individual marketplace and more than 76,000 people through the small business marketplace. Washington, D.C. has one of the lowest uninsured rates in the U.S. with more than 96 percent D.C. residents covered. For its strong consumer shopping tools, DC Health Link has also been awarded first place in the country.
