D.C. ranked 15 on WalletHub’s list of 2018’s Most Fun Cities in America. The capital ranked higher in Entertainment & Recreation and Nightlife & Parties categories.
In its recent report, WalletHub, a D.C. based personal finance website, compared more than 180 U.S. cities on 65 key metrics, including fitness centers per capita, movie costs, average open hours of breweries, and others. The categories were ranked across three dimensions of entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and costs.
The list was topped by Las Vegas, followed by Orlando, Florida and New York City.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, an average American spends nearly $3,000 on entertainment every year.
