The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Presents: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library will be exhibited at The Showroom 1099 14th St NW Washington, D.C. from June 14 – 16, it was announced by Comedy Central.
The doors open at 12:00 p.m. and admission is free of charge.
The D.C. leg of the event is taking place in celebration of President Trump’s 73rd birthday.
“The biggest crowds ever say it’s tremendous, and those who miss it will be SAD!” the event brief said about the highly-acclaimed installation.
Among the awards granted so far to the library are Grand Prix award at the 2018 Cannes Lions International Festival, two Grand Clio awards at the 2018 Clio Entertainment Awards, “Spirit of SXSW” award, a Webby award, a Shorty award, and an Adweek Experiential award.
The Twitter library idea is based on the tradition of memorial libraries consisting of historical documents honoring past presidents since Franklin D. Roosevelt.

“Continuing this hallowed tradition, and seeing no need to wait for him to leave office, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah will once again honor our current president,” Comedy Central said in its press release, adding that the Daily Show did it by “showcasing our Commander-in-Chief’s preferred vessel for communicating with the public, his Twitter feed.”
The Washington, D.C. will be the seventh stop by the Donald Trump Twitter Library, after Austin, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York City, where it made its debut.
Select exhibitions offered as part of the Presidential Twitter Library include:
THE COMMANDER-IN-TWEET: Visitors will go inside a model of the Oval Office, and be asked to compose a tweet in 30 seconds to solve a crisis, while sitting on a golden toilet.
SAD! A RETROSPECTIVE: A video retrospective showing people, places and things that Trump called “SAD!” throughout his presidency.
TRUMP VS. TRUMP: A documentation of Trump’s contradicting comments on the same subject.
VERIFIED SURVIVORS: Statements from famous figures, who went through the experience of being slammed by the president over Twitter.
DONALD J. TRUMP: A MAN OF CHARACTERS: A short documentary taking a look at Trump’s Twitter history and the social media.
MASTERWORKS: An exclusive collection of Trump’s best messages on the platform as a “master tweeter.”
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airs on Comedy Central Monday through Thursday at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. It can also be watched on thedailyshow.com or the Comedy Central App on the following day.
