City Winery to Host 2018 Wine Harvest Soiree

-

The Association of African American Vintners (AAAV) will present the 2018 AAAV Wine Harvest Soiree at City Winery on September 16.

AAAV is a non-profit organization, which was founded in 2002 to provide a supportive network to African American vintners and wine industry professionals worldwide.

“This celebration of Wine, Culture and Community is a salute to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation 48th Annual Legislative Conference and the members of the AAAV,” the City Winery press release said. “The City Winery is excited to showcase the AAAV and its amazing wine makers.”

An intimate VIP wine tasting with the AAV members and special guests is planned in the Wine Garden. The guests can also enjoy lunch while viewing the magnificent Washington, DC skyline.

“Our Wine Harvest Soiree is a fun afternoon of wine tasting, guided by some of the top winemakers in America,” the press release added. “This is a great opportunity to learn about wine from our award-winning AAAV members.”
