Three pharmacies in Northwest and Northeast DC were burglarized early in the morning, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Burglars broke into Cathedral Pharmacy in the 3000 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest at approximately 12:55 am.
At around 1:01 am, two suspects forcibly entered into the Apex Specialty Pharmacy located in the 200 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast. The suspects in this case were captured by a nearby surveillance camera.
The suspects burglarized the North Capitol St. Pharmacy in the 1500 block of North Capitol Street, Northwest, at around 1:06 am.
MPD released a number of photos and footage obtained from surveillance cameras showing three suspects and a vehicle of interest involved in the last incident.
The suspects reportedly stole items from Cathedral Pharmacy and the Apex Specialty Pharmacy, before they fled the scene.
In the North Capitol St. Pharmacy, burglars allegedly took various prescription drugs and a black safe.
Seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the three persons and the vehicle in the footage, DC police ask anyone who has knowledge of the incident to call them at (202) 727-90 99 or text their tip anonymously to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
The District currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the city.
