Seven Injured in Two Separate Shootings in District

Seven individuals were wounded by gunfire in two separate incidents in the District on Tuesday night, according to DC police.

One of the shootings took place at around 9:30 pm in the 1600 block of Maryland Avenue Northeast, where three men were injured. Two of the men were initially reported to be conscious and breathing, while the other one was not breathing.

The second incident, where three men and a teenager were shot, happened in the 5400 block of Georgia Avenue Northwest. They were all conscious and breathing, police said.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) haven’t publicized any further details.
