A puppy named Lobo was recovered in Washington, D.C. and handed over to his owner, after it was kidnapped at gunpoint earlier this week in Landover, Maryland.
The dog was reportedly stolen in Prince George’s County on December 30. Lobo’s owner told the police that the incident happened while he was walking his dog at around 1:30 p.m.
A woman with face tattoos got out of a car and approached him from behind. She held him at gunpoint and asked him to give her his dog.
After a scuffle with the assailant, the man failed to take control of the gun and another suspect appeared. She tried to pull the trigger a few times but couldn’t fire a shot. The two suspects ran off with the puppy.
