Metro Transit Police (MTPD) arrested a man on Wednesday in connection with a stabbing that occurred on the Red Line platform at the Metro Center Station two days ago.
MTPD identified the man as 51-year-old Antownne Turner of Northeast DC, adding that he is the only suspect in the incident.
Turner was taken into custody on the 2200 block of I Street NW, according to a press release from the Department.
Turner is accused of injuring two people, an adult female and an adult male, at the station following a verbal altercation.

The woman was reportedly released from the hospital after receiving treatment for a minor laceration. The male victim remained hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
