Family-friendly winter-themed activities, “Winter Wonders,” will be held at the Aquatic Resources Education Center (AREC) in Anacostia Park on January 22.
“Winter Wonders will feature a Snowy Survival aquarium tour with feedings, Coldwater Critters aquatic animal presentation, and wintry crafts and activities,” according to the event brief. “Come discover what winter is like underwater and how aquatic animals make it through the snowy season!”
“Winter Wonders” event is a part of the Family Discovery Days series at the AREC, an environmental education and aquaculture center located in southeast Washington DC.
