More than 20 local vendors representing the Shaw neighborhood will come together at EAT.DRINK.SHAW, an annual celebration of the best food and drinks Shaw restaurants and bars have to offer, at the Howard Theatre on April 24.
Over 100 of D.C.’s finest restaurants and bars are located in the Shaw neighborhood, drawing foodies and cocktail lovers from all around the world.
This year’s Host Committee of chefs, restaurateurs, mixologists, and brewers welcome visitors for a night of cuisine, cocktails, and beers at the all-inclusive food and drink fest.
Attendees can enjoy unlimited sips and noshes throughout the evening and also get to enjoy live music and dancing. Raheem DeVaughn collaborator Bee Boisseau and multi-instrumentalist Christylez Bacon will provide the soundtrack for the night. The doors open at 7:00 p.m. The who’s who of D.C.’s thriving dining scene in the Shaw neighborhood will be participating in the event.
This year’s EAT.DRINK.SHAW Host Committee includes the Dabney, Cher Cher, Drink Company, Convival, Chaplin’s, Service Bar, Mason Dixie Biscuit Company, Green Almond Pantry, Supra, among other bars and eateries.
Ticket includes unlimited wine and beer, food, soft drinks, and complimentary valet parking. All the proceeds from the event will support the Shaw Main Streets’ economic revitalization and historic preservation activities. Since 2003, Shaw Main Streets has been leading the transformation of central Shaw.
