The annual Fiesta DC street festival will be held on September 29 -30. DC Public Library will join several groups and organizations in the annual event hosted by the city to mark the Hispanic Heritage Month with lots of music and food.
The festival was earlier planned for September 16 but had to be rescheduled due to the emergency preparedness for Hurricane Florence.
Fiesta DC hosts the largest Latino Festival in the region with over 150,000 participants. The event is now celebrating its 46th anniversary.
This year, an estimated 200,000 people are expected to attend the festival where educational and community information will be provided to the attendees. Stage entertainment and live performances are also lined up at the festival.
