The fifth Annual D.C. Parent and Family Engagement Summit will be held on September 29 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, according to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
The office said the information provided at the event will “engage, inform, and empower parents and families to effectively support the highest level of quality education for all the children in the District of Columbia.”
“The Summit will also allow parents to provide feedback to OSSE on the state education plan. Please encourage parents and family members to join OSSE for this event,” the official press release added.
