Soccer star Wayne Rooney shopped in Washington, D.C. on Sunday along with his wife Coleen and her parents. Rooney, 32, has recently moved to the U.S. from the U.K. after signing for three years with Major League Soccer club D.C. United.
Rooney went largely unnoticed with wife, their six-month-old son, Cass. He was also later seen sitting down on the pavement, looking after the baby and the shopping bags. The family later also visited a local park.
The ex-England star, and now the new D.C. United captain, has kicked off his first season in the U.S. in form, since his debut in the club last month. In a match against Orlando City, he pulled off a move in the 96th minute by kicking a 40-yard ball to teammate Luciano Acosta, who went to score the winning goal in a 3-2 victory.
