Global Entrepreneurship Week DMV 2018, which brings together entrepreneurs and showcases local innovation, will be held at the Greater Washington D.C. Region between November 12 and 18.
#GEW2018 is designed by entrepreneurs and is for entrepreneurs. Throughout the week, the entrepreneurs will be educated on best practices, and access will also be provided to resources and investment opportunities in the DC-Maryland-Virginia ecosystem.
Many interactive sessions with experts will be held which will provide information to participating entrepreneurs on potential opportunities in D.C. and beyond. Several panels and workshops will provide an insight from industry leaders and influencers.
According to Steven A. Rodriguez, Global Entrepreneurship Week DMV organiser, this year Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrating four distinct themes – Women, Youth, Inclusion and Ecosystem Connect. “During GEW, we will highlight powerful voices, ambassadors and partner organisations that promote, encourage and support the development of entrepreneurs within each of the four spaces,” wrote Rodriguez.
“GEW is where connections happen and teams come together to get inspired, prepare for the next challenge and celebrate the Greater Washington, D.C. Region’s entrepreneurship community,” according to Innovate Coalition.
Participants can meet entrepreneurs, developers and investors at the venues, and also get to share ideas and learn from entrepreneurs and experienced mentors.
