Learn How to Start Podcast Through Free Virtual Workshop

-

DC-area residents are invited to join a free online workshop about how to get started in podcasting on Monday, March 8 from 7 pm – 8 pm EST.

“Podcasting is coming on strong and a great way to express your passion!” the event brief says.

The workshop promises to introduce its audience to podcasting, and teach everything needed about producing and marketing a show.

In order to attend the virtual event, participants need to create an account on the website of the Utah-based tech platform Pluralsight. You can register via Eventbrite.

Following the event, organizers will start a discussion group and arrange further meetups to share their products.

Describing itself as a “technology workforce development company,” Pluralsight says it has more than 1,500 expert authors and over 1,700 employees, and it is “trusted by 70 percent of the Fortune 500 companies.”

“At Pluralsight, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to create progress through technology and develop the skills of tomorrow. With assessments, learning paths and courses authored by industry experts, our platform helps businesses and individuals benchmark expertise across roles, speed up release cycles and build reliable, secure products,” the company says on its website.

The event is free, but it is encouraged to donate.
