IT professionals found the highest number of job openings in Washington, D.C. since last year, a report released by IT trade association CompTIA has revealed.
D.C. is ranked 11th among the top 20 tech towns for IT pros to work and live in.
In the past one year, over 170,000 ads were posted for D.C. based IT jobs, which is more than jobs advertised in San Francisco, San Jose, or Seattle. Most of these jobs are for government contractors and most of the IT related jobs were posted by companies like Booz Allen Hamilton, General Dynamics, Accenture, and Deloitte.
