DC Fire and EMS Rescues Man From Metro Track at Gallery Place

A man was rescued by first responders after he was spotted on the track at the Gallery Place station 630 H Street, Northwest, which caused train delays on the Yellow and Green Lines on Tuesday.

The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment by members of DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department. He reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries.

Due to the incident, temporary delays took place in both directions on the Yellow and Green Lines. And trains single tracked between L’Enfant Plaza and Mt. Vernon Square.
