You Can Still Join ‘Community Yoga’ While You Stay Home

-

While you are spending more and more time at home to stay safe from the novel coronavirus, yoga might act as a life-saver to get you through this nerve-racking experience.

Third Space is inviting you to an online yoga gathering on Friday, April 10, between 7:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. CDT.

The practices will be for all ages and practice levels, helping you develop flexibility, strength, and balance.

The instructor is Margie Newman, who is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), according to the event brief.

“She is passionate about helping students connect mind, body, and breath in a Hatha yoga practice that provides more than physical benefits,” the brief adds.

“Margie incorporates elements of yoga philosophy and mindfulness meditation in her classes, helping students to build self-awareness and cultivate skills they can use on and off the yoga mat. She brings a diverse background as a university instructor, creative director, and public speaking coach into her yoga teaching practice. She believes in the power of yoga to build connection and community and is excited to bring Community Yoga to the Third Space.”

All you need to do is register via Eventbrite, join their Facebook Group and you will be able to view the event on Facebook Live.

Even though the event is free, you are encouraged to donate $5.
