Rage Against the Machine Comes to Capital One Arena as Part of World Tour

-

Rage Against The Machine (RATM), who announced their reunion in late 2019 after a nine-year break, released the full schedule of a 2020 world tour, including Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena.

The legendary rap metal band of Los Angeles will kick off their seven-month tour on March 26 at the Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. The performance will mark the first time the band has played together since 2011.

August 4 is the date D.C.-based fans of RATM should prepare for. Capital One Arena has already broken the big news on its Twitter account. Ticket sales are set to start on Thursday. You can click here to view the countdown to the ticket sales.

The hip hop duo Run the Jewels will be supporting RATM throughout the tour.

As part of the world tour, the band will headline the Coachella music festival in April, Boston Calling Music Festival on May 23 and Firefly Music Festival on June 19.

The tour also includes major U.S. venues such as New York’s Madison Square Garden (August 10-11) and Chicago’s United Center (May 19), as well as other countries — the U.K., France, Ireland, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland.

The band members will donate proceeds from the first three concerts to immigrant rights organizations. Poland will be their last stop on September 10.
