The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) have launched an investigation after a man was found shot at DC’s Union Station on Monday afternoon.
The man reportedly received non-life-threatening injuries, including one in his hand, from the shooting. He was found near the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Union Station around 3 pm by police officers.
He was conscious and breathing when he was found. First responders treated him, before taking him to a hospital.

The incidents that led to the shooting are unclear.
The Amtrak Police Department is assisting MPD with its investigation.
