DC’s Virtual Job Fair Brings Together Job Seekers and Recruiters

Wertual, a virtual career development platform, organizes a series of virtual career fairs on the first Friday of every month, gathering more than 150,000 professionals and thousands of recruiting companies.

Described as “the world’s largest attended career fair” in the event brief, the fair promises quality hiring and growth among blue collar communities, as well as creating opportunities for job seekers through the power of technology, collaborative learning, and collective intelligence.

The first event of 2021 is scheduled for January 8. It will be followed by job fairs on February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, September 3, October 1, November 5, and December 3.

In order to attend the fair, candidates must create an account on https://JobsOffice.org. Then they must visit https://JobsOffice.org/we/jobfair and register their interest. They can then go to the #JobsOffice #JobFair settings page to complete their profile.

Those who have completed their profiles will be contacted by organizers two or three days ahead of the event about possible matches.

Among the industries that will be hiring at the Wertual Job Fair are advertising, aerospace, agriculture, air pollution, arms, automotive, broadcasting, computer, construction, defense, education, electric power, electronics, entertainment, fashion, film, financial services, food, healthcare, hospitality, information, internet, news media, real estate, and more.
