The Capital Book Fest is returning to the Woodrow Wilson Plaza for those willing to buy used books, CDs and DVDs on August 19.
Thousands of items will be available on sale for only $6 or less, and there is no entry fee.
The outdoor pop-up bookstore will be open from 10 am – 5 pm EDT.
The Woodrow Wilson Plaza is a courtyard located on the external grounds of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest DC.
Books will be provided by Carpe Librum, a local used bookstore benefitting nonprofit Turning the Page, according to the event brief.
The Capital Book Fest is organized by TCMA, a real-estate company which is the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC).
There will be health and safety measures in place, including mandatory face masks, hand sanitation stations provided onsite, and limited capacities if needed.
You can get a ticket through Eventbrite.
Organizers note that the outdoor event will be canceled in the case of inclement weather.
The upcoming dates for the event following August 19 are September 16 and October 21.
