By the end of October, Washington, D.C. will have a new car sharing service, as French carmaker PSA – the company behind Peugeot and Citroen – will soon be launching it in the district, a senior PSA executive said.
Initially, 600 Chevrolet cars will be used by PSA in Washington, according to Brigitte Courtehoux, the director of mobility services at PSA, who spoke during the Paris Auto Show on October 2.
PSA wants to use car sharing as a way to reintroduce its brands back into the U.S. marketplace after pulling out of the States in 1991.
