An average Millennial couple with a family of four is more likely to find a home in D.C. Wards 7 and 8, according to a follow-up study by the D.C. Policy Center. The analytical report, Will Children of Millennials Become Future Public School Students, highlights areas of the district where the school-age population is likely to live.
According to the study, an average Millennial couple can buy a house between $150,000 and $358,000 market value.

The D.C. Policy Center report had revealed that the public school enrollment in D.C. is estimated to grow by as many as 21,100 students by 2026-2027, and half of this growth is likely to occur in middle and high school grades.
