New Year’s Eve DC Gala Hosted by Andrew Mellon Auditorium

For residents of the District of Columbia opting for an elegant form of entertainment on New Year’s Eve, Andrew W Mellon Auditorium is offering the Mellon Gala NYE 2019-2020.

“The Mellon Gala – D.C.’s premier Black Tie gala – features a red carpet entrance, D.C.’s most luxurious venue, top-shelf open bar, free flowing champagne, three magnificent ballrooms, three separate party spaces, multiples djs & genres of music, passed desserts and Hors d’oeuvres and more bars, stations and servers than before to ensure an unforgettable night of celebration,” according to the event brief.

There will be five large bars at the event, where you can enjoy a range of music from Hip Hop to Top 40, to Old School to EDM and Latin in different rooms you step in.

“With 12 colossal columns rising 100 feet above, four magnificent Ballrooms trimmed in pure gold, and colossal chandeliers, the Mellon Auditorium is one of Washington’s most spectacular structures,” the event brief says.

You can purchase a general admission ticket for $119 through December 22. All night premium open bar, midnight champagne toast, complimentary party favors and main Great Hall access are included.

VIP tickets (priced at $149) include all night premium open bar, midnight champagne toast, complimentary party favors, multiple rooms all access and separate VIP entrance. These tickets are available December 22.

Main Great Hall VIP Table tickets include 10 Gala tickets, two premium liquor bottles, two bottle of Rose Champagne, VIP multiple room all access, separate VIP entrance and unlimited access to the open bar all night. You can buy one of these tickets for $1,999 until December 31. But you should make your bottle preferences seven days ahead of the event.

Early bird general admission tickets and early bird VIP all access tickets were sold out, as well as Back Green Hall VIP Table tickets.

Attendees must be over 21 and bring a valid ID with them. And do not forget about the black tie dress code, which requires suits or tuxes for men and cocktail dresses for ladies.
